Online voting application for Gold Fields Australia
Indepth Creative has been engaged by Gold Fields Australia to design a secure and independent online voting system. The web based voteing function will allow 350+ employees from Gold Fields Australia Pty Limited, St Ives Gold Mining Company Pty Limited and Agnew Gold Mining Company Pty Limited to cast an anonymous vote regarding the companies’ Employee Collective Agreement.
Indepth designed an easy, 5 step online voting process which starts with a secure login and progresses through a series of questions with check box answers. The online voting method deployed by Indepth is professionally designed and aesthetically pleasing; quick and easy to use; and most importantly completely independent.
To ensure the independence of the online votes, Indepth will handle all administrative aspects of the application, run the vote between a set of selected dates, and then collect and collate the data, whilst maintaining the anonymity of the employees, before handing the results of the vote to Gold Fields Australia.
Indepth created and delivered this system within a very short time frame in order to meet Gold Fields Australia’s deadline; the system is now live and online voting has begun. Indepth also graphically designed and managed the handling of the envelopes that were used to securely send out the log-in details to Gold Fields’ employees.
The response from all involved in the project so far has been fantastic. On the user end, the application is quick and simple; the administration is independent, and the entire online voting method is secure from start to finish.
